Jyotsna S Kumar is a Singapore-based abstract artist working primarily with acrylics and mixed media. Her intuitive practice is inspired by the beauty found in everyday life, transforming ordinary moments into expressive compositions of colour, texture and layered forms. Guided by experimentation and spontaneity, her paintings explore rhythm, movement and emotional resonance while embracing the imperfect and the unexpected.
Alongside her studio practice, Jyotsna has built a distinguished career as an art educator, nurturing creativity for more than nineteen years. Her work has been exhibited extensively in Singapore and internationally, and is held in private collections in Singapore, India, the United States and the Philippines.
